Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the best way to store my tea?

A: The best way to store your tea is in an air tight container; food grade tins or glass jars work very well for this, and then keep the container in a cool, dry place away from heat and light. Never store your tea in a plastic or ziploc type bag as these materials will absorb the flavor from the tea.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

A: Typically 3-5 business days for continental US addresses. Please allow a few extra days during Holiday weeks.

Q: How much does shipping cost?

A: We believe in shipping at a fair price. All orders will be charged for USPS Priority Mail service based on the dollar amount spent in the store: $1.00 - $25.00 = $4.95, $25.01 - $50.00 = $6.95, $50.01 - $74.99 = $8.95, $75.00+ = Free Shipping (US addresses only). International orders will be charged the current rate for USPS Air service.

Q: Why do you only ship via USPS Priority Mail?

A: We have done the research and found that USPS Priority Mail is the quickest and most economical way to get you your package.

Q: How is your tea packaged?

A: Our teas are packaged in vacuum sealed bags made from materials that are specially designed to maintain the integrity and quality of the tea.

Q: What is the shelf life of your tea?

A: Although tea has a very long shelf life, typically a year or more; we recommend that for optimum flavor and freshness, our tea be consumed within 6 months of purchase.

Q: Are the herbs that you use safe?

A: All of the flowers, fruit and herbal components that we blend with are food grade. There is a lot of fact and fiction out there regarding various types of herbs. We recommend that you consult a physician if you have any questions or concerns regarding the safety of a particular herb or herbal-type product prior to purchasing or consuming.
