About Tea Shack

Tea Shack's founders have been working in and around the tea industry since the early 80's. The Tea Shack concept was inspired by the founders love of tea and need for a creative outlet. We offer a full line of unique teas including yerba mate, honeybush, rooibos, black, green, herbal, decaf black and the elusive decaf green. In addition, we offer you the opportunity to create your own truly "custom" blend.

We are dedicated to providing the finest quality products and service available. As such, we use organic products whenever possible, our flavor ingredients are kosher certified by National Kashruth, all of our blending components are food grade, and we use only all natural water and CO2 process decaffeinated tea.

What's in a name?

The name "Tea Shack" was inspired by and is a twist on the song "Sugar Shack" by Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs; a favorite of one of our founder's, and his long held desire to "semi-retire" and spend his time selling tea out of a "tea shack" on a beach in some tropical locale. Maybe someday he'll get his wish!
